Are you aware of a natural remedy for eczema?
Do you know what causes it and how to treat it?
Excema is a severe skin disorder that is caused due to several reasons. The skin appears red and itchy with scales. The rash may always appears like its red and swollen and blisters may appear. The skin may also appear crusted, slimy and red in color with a little oozing. Eczema appears first in children and then increases with age. Adults will also experience Eczema in the form of dry itchy skin, ear cracks and rashes on the skin of the arms, legs and cheeks. Researchers are not really sure what causes eczema. The main understanding is that the disease is caused due to an autoimmune reaction in which the body starts attacking and killing itself.
But there are several natural remedies that can be used to control Eczema and they are-
1. Local applications of coconut oil to the dry and peeling areas. The natural oils present in Coconut oil are great to lubricate the skin and keep it moisturized
2. Local applications of treated and medicated mud are ideal to prevent flare-ups of the skin condition. Although it’s a better idea to combine the mudpack with a sunbathing session for best results.
3. Try topical applications of camphor and sandalwood that have been ground into a paste in equal quantities. Combine this application with a local water bath pack where you apply alternate wet warm and cold packs to keep the skin from peeling and blistering.
4. Ideally all doctors recommend that you avoid the use of strong soaps and detergents that can aggravate the condition. But you can try to make your own herbal soap that which you can create with olive oil soap. Get unscented olive oil soap and shred it into a bowl, add a few drops of essential oil to it along with chopped herbs and two teaspoon of oatmeal. Heat the mix under gentle heat until the mix is integrated and the pour it into soap moulds for cooling.
Other than that you can also try to improve your lifestyle with a proper routine of skin care. Start a new exercise routine where you are working out for at least 30 minutes everyday. Boost your immune system with fresh food and vegetables that will ensure that your body is strong enough to prevent the disease from recurring.
